Tuesdays with Todd & Brad Reed
Every Tuesday of 2012, starting on January 3rd, Todd and Brad Reed will each be attempting to make at least one spectacular photograph. Similar to their 365 Project, they will be able to choose any subject matter in any location. The only rule is they each have to shoot one photo on every Tuesday.
What is going to set “Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed” apart from all of the other successful projects the Reeds have done is that they are dedicating the entire day every Tuesday during 2012 to getting the best shot possible. The father and son team hopes to be photographing from sunrise to sunset. Sometimes they will be out adventuring together and other times they will be on solo journeys. By having longer designated time periods to venture, explore and shoot, Todd and Brad hope to travel farther from home and get more creative with some of their featured photos during the “Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed” project.
Additionally, with the new Nikon D7000 camera bodies that Todd and Brad just purchased, they will be shooting and incorporating high definition video into this project. The HD videos will be available on the Todd and Brad Reed Photography website, blog and Facebook page. The HD videos will allow all of their dedicated and new fans to safari with Todd and Brad throughout the entire year of 2012.
One of the main goals of “Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed” is that the fans and customers of Todd’s and Brad’s work will be able to get a deeper understanding of what makes each of the Reeds tick and how they attack a given scene in order to create the image they are searching for. The Reeds will also be writing a much more detailed story about their one chosen photo for “Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed” as well as stories about their experiences throughout the entire day of shooting.
Like all of their projects, the Reeds hope to have their fans and customers involved in helping to find the awesome places and magic moments that surround all of us. At the end of 2012 there will be 104 new images that make up “Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed”. If the project is as successful as their 365 Project, the Reeds hope to create another beautiful hard cover coffee table book with the images and stories from their experiences during 2012.
